Most people tolerate Synthroid® quite well. However, side effects may occur and can include things such as heart palpitations, difficulty breathing, and chest pain. Side effects typically occur when the dose is too high. If you develop side effects while taking Synthroid, your healthcare provider may need to adjust your dosage.
