Who Should Not Take Rosiglitazone?

You should not take rosiglitazone if you:
 
  • Are allergic to Avandia, rosiglitazone maleate, or any inactive component used to make rosiglitazone. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients used to make rosiglitazone.
     
  • Have severe heart failure.
