Who Should Not Take Repaglinide?

You should not take repaglinide if you:
 
  • Are allergic to Prandin, repaglinide, or any inactive component used to make these drugs. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients.
     
  • Have type 1 diabetes.
     
  • Have diabetic ketoacidosis (a life-threatening condition that may occur with uncontrolled diabetes). This condition needs to be treated with insulin.
