Repaglinide and MetforminRepaglinide and metformin is used to help lower blood sugar levels in people with type 2 diabetes. It works in several ways, such as helping the pancreas to make more insulin, improving the body's response to insulin, and decreasing the amount of sugar produced by the liver. This prescription medication, which comes in tablet form, is typically taken up to half an hour before each meal. Potential side effects include headaches, nausea, and diarrhea.
