Pioglitazone

What If I Take an Overdose?

In studies, doses of pioglitazone up to 180 mg were given without major side effects. It is unclear what symptoms to expect if you take an overdose. If you happen to take too much, seek immediate medical attention.

(Click Actos Overdose for more information.)

How Should Pioglitazone Be Stored?

Pioglitazone should be stored at room temperature, away from moisture or heat. The tablets should be kept in an airtight container.

Keep this and all medications out of the reach of children.

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose?

If you do not take your pioglitazone as scheduled, take your next dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose.
