How Should Pioglitazone and Glimepiride Be Stored?

Pioglitazone and glimepiride should be stored at room temperature away from moisture or heat. The tablets should be kept in an airtight container.
 
Keep pioglitazone and glimepiride and all medications out of the reach of children.
 

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose of Pioglitazone and Glimepiride?

If you do not take your pioglitazone and glimepiride as scheduled, take your next dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose of pioglitazone and glimepiride.
 

Strengths of Pioglitazone and Glimepiride

Pioglitazone and glimepiride is available in two strengths:
 
  • Pioglitazone and glimepiride 30 mg/2 mg tablets (containing 30 mg pioglitazone and 2 mg glimepiride)
  • Pioglitazone and glimepiride 30 mg/4 mg tablets (containing 30 mg pioglitazone and 4 mg glimepiride).
     

Generic Pioglitazone and Glimepiride

There is currently no generic pioglitazone and glimepiride licensed for sale (see Generic Duetact).
