Storage Methods

Unopened Novolin N vials should be stored in the refrigerator. Once you start using the vials, they can be kept in the refrigerator or at room temperature (up to 77°F). Either way, vials must be discarded six weeks after being opened, even if there is some insulin left.
Keep this insulin away from direct light or heat. Make sure to keep it out of reach of children.

This insulin is available in 10-mL vials, with 100 units of insulin per mL. The penfill cartridges and the InnoLet device are no longer available.
