Janumet Storage Methods

Janumet should be stored at room temperature away from moisture or heat. The tablets should be kept in an airtight container.
 
Keep Janumet and all medications out of the reach of children.
 

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose of Janumet?

If you do not take Janumet as scheduled, take your missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose.
 

Strengths of Janumet

Janumet tablets are available in two strengths:
 
  • Janumet 50 mg/500 mg tablets -- containing 50 mg sitagliptin and 500 mg metformin
  • Janumet 50 mg/1000 mg tablets -- containing 50 mg sitagliptin and 1000 mg metformin.
     

Generic Janumet

Currently, there is no generic Janumet licensed for sale (see Generic Janumet).
