Generic Glyburide and Metformin

What If My Insurance Won't Cover Glyburide and Metformin?

Some insurance companies that do not cover glyburide and metformin will cover the two medications in glyburide and metformin separately. In other words, even if glyburide and metformin is not covered, you may have coverage for glyburide and metformin separately. You would need two separate prescriptions from your healthcare provider, and you would likely need to pay two co-pays. For some people, this option may be more cost effective, though it would result in taking more tablets per day.
