Drug Interactions With Alogliptin and Pioglitazone

If you take bile acid sequestrants, insulin, or certain other drugs with alogliptin and pioglitazone, negative interactions may occur. In some cases, these combinations may lower your blood sugar levels too much or decrease the effectiveness of the drugs.
