Atorvastatin
In studies, when Actoplus Met XR and atorvastatin were taken together, this decreased the levels of both medications in the blood, perhaps making them both less effective. Your healthcare provider may need to adjust your doses of these drugs if both have been prescribed.
 
Calcium Channel Blockers
Combining Actoplus Met XR with a calcium channel blocker can make Actoplus Met XR less effective, increasing your chance of high blood sugar (hyperglycemia). You may need to be monitored more closely and your healthcare provider may need to adjust your Actoplus Met XR dose, especially when starting or stopping a calcium channel blocker.
 
Certain Decongestants
If Actoplus Met XR and certain decongestants are taken together, this can make Actoplus Met XR less effective, increasing your chance of high blood sugar (hyperglycemia).
