Acromegalie
Were you looking for information about Acromegaly? Acromegalie is a common misspelling of acromegaly.
Acromegaly is a type of disorder that occurs when the pituitary gland produces too much growth hormone. This hormonal disorder is typically caused by a tumor. However, because this disease progresses slowly, it is often misdiagnosed. Possible symptoms of acromegaly include fatigue, impaired vision, and impotence. The most common symptom, however, is the abnormal growth of the hands and feet. Some treatment options for this disorder may include surgery, medications, and radiation therapy.
